The History of Imperator Grendel Grinder

Imperator Grendel Grinder has been in and out of the Justicars for as long as anyone can remember.

In his early days, Grendel made a name for himself with starring roles as a famously bald action hero in smash hit one-reelers "The Condemned" and "The Princeless Bride".

When Grendel Grinder came down with an unexpected case of reverse ophiasis he decided to move on from his movie career and into low finance. Over time Grendel became a reformed cog in the finance industry and now believes he works for a higher power to save the world from a dark finance fae. It was this calling that cemented his career with the Justicars. Grendel is collecting evidence linking the Children of Moloch to the dark finance fae Lloyd Blankenfiend, whom he has chased for many years.

Imperator Grendel Grinder takes cleanliness as a matter of life and death. He likes to take showers using rainwater which he stores for this purpose in cisterns heated to a scorching temperature by steam-powered solar panels on his roof. He describes soaking in this cistern as his "sensual miasma," which entices him while yet also making him sad.

Imperator Grendel Grinder carries his golden Justicar shield into the arena with pride and wields it expertly. Given a chance though, he loves to grapple. Whenever possible, he will do so half-naked to show off his hunky body, though it is against Justicar regulations. Grendel likes to use his bare hands to fight with tight grips and dirty punches. His nickname among friends is Bare-Knuckles Grendy.
