The History of Hun Zhu

Hun Zhu started his career as an Imperium agent in the Justicars named Walter. Walter trained as an enforcer but soon showed a myriad of other skills. Misdirection, pantomime, logical chess, public speaking, petty theft, ancient book writing, hypnosis and immortality were only a few of his talents.

His mysterious Justicar masters decided to put him to the ultimate test against a long time thorn in the side of the Imperium, the Huns. So Walter was dispatched to walk straight into the Hun encampment in the Cistern of the Darkened Sky, and frankly, some of his jealous bosses would not miss Walter if he never came back.

Walter got in, survived the Gauntlet of Suffering, and became a member of the Huns. Old Berico himself cut off Walter's head with his own sword and threw it out the window only for it to return instantly with a faint zoosh. It sounds like the laziest ghost story you've heard, but it's totally true.

It was then that Walter became Hun Zhu. He was deep undercover and he had never felt so alive.

Soon after joining, Hun Zhu was sent on the long, arduous pilgrimage on foot to Hun Umbra's temple with nothing on his back but his wits. Unfortunately, he was captured by a band of thieves on the first day. Hun Zhu played the fool, then lulled the thieves into a false sense of security. Then he killed them all in their sleep. Hun Zhu made their blood an offering of life to Moloch before continuing his journey. He was diggin the ways of Moloch and the Huns.

Once he met Hun Umbra, they became true BFFs. It was weird for both of them, but they had no choice. When Hun Umbra was drafted to join Hun Pluteus in the Colosseum it was only a matter of time before Hun Zhu followed them.

Is Hun Zhu a double agent? The truest of Huns? Moloch in disguise? Hard to tell really.

Without anarchy there is no freedom. Without freedom there is no creativity. Without creativity there is no progress.
