Omakase Oxtorque's origin is shrouded in mystery even from the other members of the Crusaders of the Decentralized Light, of which he is a prominent member. From the way he moves, it is clear to all that he had martial arts training from a young age. How he found a martial arts trainer in the southern lordly agro-estates from which the Crusaders emerged just adds to his mystery.

Omakase came to the attention of the other Crusaders after a series of high publicity exploits including the theft of the first edition of the holy tome of Decentralized Ascension. He also made off with the routing protocols from the Celestial Citadel which he smuggled in the lining of his clothing and brought to Haydrian Kinderfist. (Though in fact what he delivered in the parcel was a carefully wrapped and sealed sushi tray complete with all manner of delicacies.) Most impressive though was his vision of a new reality matrix encryption algorithm which surpasses the current systems in use by nearly tenfold.

When Omakase came out to the rest of the world, his words and deeds created a storm of controversy that pushed him into the public eye. This storm brought him unwanted attention from the Imperium Justicars. When he was offered an opportunity from The Crusaders of the Decentralized Light to join them he eagerly accepted... as much for the protection they provided as his embrace of their decentralized values.

Omakase Oxtorque is a thrilling and unpredictable fighter who uses his skill and a variety of weapons to mislead and overwhelm opponents before finishing them off with a well placed and precise (and excessively flashy) blow.

Omakase Oxtorque is always pleasant and agreeable but has a secret side. Perhaps he was trained by ninjas, geisha or iaijutsu swordsmen? He is the Crusaders' wild card and he loves every minute of the attention that brings! He hangs out at his artisan sushi business between exploits, which is one of the most famous of all the knights’ various side projects.

Between the blades of his shoulders, he bears a gruesome tattoo that says in large, coastal idiot-o-grams: "Embrace the Eel!"
